The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I have been involved with photography for over 45 years. I started with a 35mm camera, but I have also used 4 X 5, 645, and 2 1/4 square formats. Since 2003, almost all of what I have done has been digital.
